How Our Screening & Diagnostic Process Works

Overview

Spectrum Mobile Imaging | ForgedWell provides mobile cardiovascular screening and diagnostic ultrasound services throughout the Ebensburg and surrounding region.

We operate on a structured, appointment-based system designed to ensure every patient receives clear instructions, appropriate preparation guidance, and efficient scheduling.

All services follow a standardized workflow, whether booked by an individual patient or coordinated through an employer or organization.

Scheduling Your Appointment

Individual Patients

Appointments are scheduled online through our secure scheduling link.

To begin:

Select an available appointment time
Enter your basic contact information

Once scheduled, you will immediately receive a confirmation email with next steps.

Employer or Group Screenings

Employer-based screenings are coordinated directly with our office.

Depending on the organization’s needs, scheduling may be:

Individual self-scheduling using a provided link, OR
Pre-arranged group scheduling coordinated internally with the employer

We work with each organization to determine the most efficient and least disruptive workflow for their team.

Registration & Intake Process

After scheduling your appointment, all patients/clients are required to complete a registration form prior to their visit.

This form collects:

Patient demographics
Primary care provider information
Medical history relevant to screening
Service selection
Required consent and preparation acknowledgments

This step ensures we are fully prepared for your appointment and able to provide appropriate screening or diagnostic services.

Preparation for Your Appointment

Preparation requirements vary depending on the type of service scheduled.

Fasting Requirements

If your appointment includes abdominal aortic (AAA), liver, or other abdominal imaging, fasting for 6–8 hours prior to your appointment is required.

Water and prescribed medications may be taken unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider.

Clothing & Comfort

Wear loose, comfortable clothing
For vascular screening or lower extremity studies, wear shoes that are easy to remove when able
Avoid high-collared or tight-neck clothing if undergoing carotid or thyroid imaging

Arrival

Please arrive a few minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to ensure timely service.

Diagnostic Orders (When Required)

Some services require a physician order prior to completion.

These include:

Diagnostic vascular ultrasound
Diagnostic abdominal ultrasound
Diagnostic thyroid ultrasound
Certain EKG interpretations when ordered

If a provider order is required, the exact test requested must be provided prior to or at the time of your appointment.

Screening-based services do not require an order.

Payment Information

Spectrum Mobile Imaging | ForgedWell operates on a self-pay basis.

Insurance is not accepted
No insurance billing is performed
Payment is required prior to services being rendered or at time of service if paying by cash or check
