Workforce Wellness Screenings & Mobile Imaging Services
Supporting employee wellness through convenient cardiovascular screening programs & mobile occupational imaging services designed for today’s workforce.
Convenient onsite screening & imaging services designed to support employee wellness initiatives, improve accessibility, & minimize disruption to daily operations.
Helping bridge the gap between “I feel fine” and “I had no idea there was a problem.”
For more than 20 years working in vascular imaging and vascular surgery, we have seen how often serious cardiovascular and vascular disease goes undetected until it becomes an emergency.
Many of the patients we cared for were still in their prime working years — manufacturing employees, transportation workers, construction crews, agricultural workers, plant employees, and other individuals in physically demanding industries. Too often, these conditions are discovered only after a stroke, vascular emergency, heart attack, or severe circulation problem has already occurred.
These life-altering events can lead to:
Long-term disability
Reduced mobility and chronic pain
Extended recovery periods
Lost productivity and staffing strain
Increased medical and disability costs
Reduced quality of life for employees and families
Cardiovascular and vascular disease continue to create major health and economic burdens among working-age adults. Conditions such as peripheral artery disease (PAD), carotid artery disease, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease frequently develop silently over time before symptoms appear.
At Spectrum Mobile Imaging and ForgedWell, our mission is to help employers support earlier awareness and proactive health initiatives through accessible on-site screening programs designed for high-risk workforces.
By bringing screenings directly to the workplace, organizations can help:
Encourage early detection
Support employee wellness initiatives
Improve healthcare accessibility
Reduce barriers to preventive care
Promote workforce longevity and operational stability
Why Early Screening Matters
Many cardiovascular and vascular conditions develop silently
Early identification may allow earlier medical intervention
Workforce health directly impacts productivity, safety, and retention
Preventive health initiatives can support long-term employee wellbeing
Why We Do What We Do: Protecting the Workforce That Keeps Industries Moving
Cost Comparison: Prevention vs. Emergency
Preventive screenings are a simple, low-cost way to identify health risks early. Without early detection, many conditions lead to emergency care, hospitalizations, and long-term treatment—resulting in significantly higher costs for both individuals and employers. Proactive screening helps reduce these avoidable expenses.

Cardiovascular Wellness Screenings
Carotid Screening
-
What it evaluates:
This ultrasound assesses blood flow in the carotid arteries, which supply blood to the brain. Why it matters:
Plaque buildup in these arteries can develop silently and increase the risk of stroke. Early detection allows for intervention before symptoms occur. What to expect:
A quick, non-invasive ultrasound scan performed on the neck with no discomfort or downtime.
PVR/ABI (Circulation)
-
What it evaluates:
This test measures blood flow in the legs using blood pressure cuffs and waveforms to assess circulation. It also checks the circulation within the small vessels of the toes which is critical for those who are diabetic or high risk. Why it matters:
Reduced circulation may indicate peripheral artery disease (PAD), which is linked to increased risk of heart attack and stroke. Reduced circulation can lead to non-healing wounds and can lead up to amputation. What to expect:
Simple, painless testing using cuffs placed on the arms, ankles, feet and toes—completed in just a few minutes.
Aorta (AAA) Screening
-
What it evaluates:
An ultrasound of the abdominal aorta to check for enlargement or aneurysm. We look for aneurysm, dissection, and blockage. Why it matters:
Abdominal aortic aneurysms often have no symptoms but can become life-threatening if they rupture. Screening helps detect issues early. What to expect:
A non-invasive abdominal scan performed while lying comfortably, with no recovery time needed. A 4-6 hour fast is recommended for optimal evaluation.
12-Lead EKG Screening
-
What it evaluates:
This test records the electrical activity of the heart to assess rhythm and overall cardiac function. Why it matters:
An EKG can help identify irregular heart rhythms or underlying cardiac concerns that may not present with symptoms. What to expect:
Quick, painless test using small electrodes placed on the chest, arms, and legs—completed in minutes.
Workers’ Compensation Imaging
We provide onsite diagnostic imaging for workplace injuries—helping streamline care and reduce delays.
Fast access to diagnostic ultrasound and 12-lead EKG
Supports injury evaluation and case management
Reduces time away from work
Improves coordination with providers
Efficient imaging leads to faster decisions and better outcomes.

Built for Business: High-Quality, On-Site Preventive Care
Note that prior to an aorta assessment, a recommended fasting period of 4-6 hours is recommended.
Employees may still take medication with a small glass of water.
This practice promotes more clear ultrasound imaging without any potential interference from gas. Fasting optimizes the visibility of the aorta,.
