We offer both physician-ordered diagnostic exams and preventive vascular screenings, performed by experienced registered sonographers using the same high-quality equipment found in clinical settings.

Direct Pay Pricing

Price Information

Our self-pay pricing is very affordable and lower than most insurance deductibles. Our price includes the interpretation fees. 

Most hospitals will send you a separate bill for the interpretation of your test. You end up paying two bills receiving testing through the hospital or hospital affiliated outpatient center.

Did you know that you can submit your order and receipt/invoice to your insurance company? You may be able to receive a refund or have the total amount go towards your deductible while saving yourself money.

Direct Pay Services Process

Paperwork

Intake paperwork for testing includes a Consent to Treatment form, Privacy form, and a patient history form.

Payment

Patient will be responsible for paying for the full costs of their testing prior to having their tests performed. Payment for services are made online through our patient portal prior to the day of services.

Spectrum reserves the right to refuse and/or reschedule patient testing until payment has been received. Patient must agree to the terms on the form before services are rendered.

Patient Portal

Patients will receive their results securely through the portal. They will receive a welcome letter and email invite to sign up to the portal. 

Patients will create an online portal account through the link provided by us within their email. Patient will have access to their test results through our secure patient portal. 

 FAQs

  • A written order is necessary for diagnostic ultrasound testing. We need a filled-out consent and HIPAA privacy form which you will complete online prior to your testing in the portal. 

    We need a space large enough to accommodate our equipment near your couch if you choose to lie on your own couch for testing. We also bring a portable table to lie on as an additional option if space allows. We need access to an electrical source to plug in our equipment also.

  • Testing is performed on select dates and times Monday through Friday. In-home testing is currently unavailable on weekends and holidays.

    Testing dates and times will be determined by availability of technologist and are subject to change.

  • Payment for services are made online through our patient portal before services can be rendered. Spectrum will not bill any insurance providers.

  • All direct-pay patients will have access to their exam results within the patient portal. The exam results will be posted within the portal after the testing has been officially read by a radiologist.

    Patients without email may elect to receive their results through mail.

  • You can schedule your testing through our contact form above and we will contact you back with a quote on pricing at your location.

  • We service most of Central and Western Pennsylvania. Service area includes Ebensburg, Patton, Hastings, Johnstown, Altoona, Indiana, Blairsville, Latrobe, Punxsutawney, Homer City, New Alexandria, Greensburg, and the surrounding areas

  • Diagnostic exams need a physician's order in order to be performed. We can accommodate most diagnostic exams and screenings at your location. Contact us to learn more about pricing or the testing process.
